If you have court business and meet any of the criteria above, or are not feeling well, please call the court’s Coronavirus Hotline at (505) 841-9810 to discuss options.

The court has made it easier to conduct court business from home.

Please visit our COVID-19 Information & Updates page for information on how to call in for a remote hearing, request a continuance in your case, file a Motion for Extension by fax or email, pay court fines and fees online or via mail or contact the court’s Pretrial and Probation Department.

ATTENTION JURORS:

Your jury service is important, and we want to assure you that the court is making every effort to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.

As per our usual practice, if you are not feeling well, please contact the Jury Division at (505) 841-8141 to discuss options.

Due to a recent New Mexico Supreme Court ruling, as an additional precautionary measure against the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), all criminal and civil jury trials have been suspended with the exception of special circumstances.  However, this does NOT vacate your summons for jury duty.  It is because of this possibility that you will still be committed to the court for the duration of your term.

However, instead of reporting to the courthouse on your first day of jury duty as originally instructed by your summons, we are asking that all jurors call our “Code-A-Phone” system at 505-841-8158 each day between the hours of 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. through the end of your term.

Listen to the message carefully…it will provide you with daily reporting instructions. You will need to know your group number when listening to this message, just in case any jurors are required to report. The message will be clear and concise.

If you do not understand this email or the recorded message on the code-a-phone, please call our direct line at 505-841-8141 and the jury staff will be happy to assist you.

Thank you for your jury service.
