Welcome to the Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court Jury Division

Thank you for being here to participate in a very important part of our system of justice.

What can I bring into the Courthouse?

On the first day that you report for Jury Duty, you will be given a pink slip of paper that identifies you as a Juror. Bring the pink slip with you each time you come to Court because as a Juror, you are allowed to bring in food or drink (in a manufacturer sealed bottle) and other items into the Courthouse. You are also allowed to enter security through the EMPLOYEE/OFFICER entrance.

In addition to food and drink, you can also bring reading material, your cell phone, a laptop (DVDs for your laptop, MP3 players, head phones/earphones), Nooks, Kindles, or other reading tablets, and any crafts (only scissors with rounded tips, and only plastic or wooden knitting needles or crochet hooks will be allowed). Please Note: For your initial orientation, cell phones, laptops and other portable electronic devices ARE NOT PERMITTED. Please leave such devices at home. At orientation, we will provide instructions for future reporting that will enable you to enter with these devices.
