*NOTICE* Browser Compatibility Update
The browsers Google Chrome and Firefox (version 52 and above) will no longer support websites like File and Serve that use Silverlight. Users will receive a message that their web browser is not compatible and to use a different web browser (Internet Explorer) to eFile. eFilers are encouraged to begin transitioning to the new File and Serve website through the attorney access link above, but the Silverlight version can be reached HERE.

Effective January 1st, 2017, the fees for E-filing at the District Courts in New Mexico will increase. File and Serve fees will go from $10 to $12, File Only fees will go from $6 to $8. The $4 fee for Serve Only will be dropped to $0

Getting Started in File and Serve

  1. A CAID number is required for attorneys to use File and Serve (NOTE: this is different than a Bar number).  To obtain or lookup your number, contact the Supreme Court here.

Out-of-state attorneys, contact the Supreme Court here

  1. Register for an account in File and Serve by clicking here and selecting the Register button on the New Mexico File and Serve home page.
  2. You are ready to begin filing a wide range of civil actions in the District Court and any action in the Supreme Court.
